The wildfires have now been brought under control by the firefighters. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for their extraordinary work, which helped protect more than 90% of the Fontainebleau forest.

Camping Le Lido and the entire forest within a radius of nearly 20 km remain completely untouched and have never been under threat. Our campsite is located on the opposite side of the forest from the affected area, close to cooler and more humid surroundings, with the Seine and Loing rivers just 300 metres away.
The forest east of the Seine, only 1 km from the campsite, remains open and is ideal for walking, trail running, mountain biking and other outdoor activities.
In addition, we have identified several bouldering areas that remain outside the restricted access zones and offer numerous climbing problems, including Buthiers, Le Petit Bois, Mont Darvault, Le Puiselet

A really relaxed campsite with very friendly staff and clean washrooms. The tent sites are really large and have bushes for privacy. Generally it was a friendly atmosphere there.

Wow! Beautiful, peaceful campsite, perfect for families with children. Everything is very well maintained and the staff are very friendly! We travelled to Paris from the campsite without any problems! A walk to the village is definitely worth it too! We’ll definitely remember this campsite!

We stopped here while cycling through the area and had a great stay! There are lovely shaded pitches for cyclists and hikers. The sanitary facilities are top-notch and very clean. The bar and terrace are really pleasant, and the Thai food truck is a great addition the food was delicious!
